Any ideas why my hotmail inbox won't come up on my computer but msn messenger will tell me I have 3 new messages. Had same problem with 1 work computer but others do bring it up.

Only thing I can think of is deleting my temp files so it has to load it all up new and I haven't run a virus checker in last few days.

    Everything else is loading fine.

Help as its damn annoying and I'm not really supposed to use work computers.

Relax my friend! Hotmail, like all Micro-squash products, is prone to weird shutdowns & odd behaviour. Try in a couple hours and see if it works.
    OR:
    #1 try from another computer
#2 let a distant friend try it (you'll have to give your password, but you could always change it later, eh?)
#3 empty your temp files, run a virus checker & all that
#4 make sure ONLY the hotmail window is open, MSN Messenger is a bandwidth HOG! and a RAM HOG too! Turn it off! Exit completely.

As a last ditch attempt; Send 29.95 to Billy Gates & it will mysteriously work again

I've never used hotmail. Gmail is great because of the storage space. It makes it easier to send large files. The other free email services seem to have responded by increasing their storage space.

I know some people have a problem with gmail's certain quirks. Sending larger files can be a pain sometimes, and the fact that they scan your email to target you with marginal ads can seem kind of creepy. I'm used to ignoring most ads anyway. A habit I got into while visiting Hostboard and it's headline banner.

I like the bigger storage space. I've also got some more invites if anyone's interested, or knows anyone that might be interested.

May or may not be related, but my Mom was having a similar problem starting about the same time. No idea what caused it, but downloading the latest updates/version of the anti-virus program seemed to take care of the problem.
